Newswalk is a renovated, ten-story, industrial building, originally erected in 1920 as The Daily News Printing Plant, which has been converted into luxury, loft-style apartments and offices.
Innovative features include: an elevator tower and lobby located in the courtyard and a Mondrean-like facade comprised of a new aluminum and glass grid contrasting with a framework of exposed concrete columns and slabs representing the building’s original history.
All of the apartments include high ceilings; some incorporate second level lofts and private roof terraces. Building amenities include: a gymnasium, meeting and community rooms, and roof gardens, one of which contains a running path and a children’s playground.
